Who am I ?

I am a freelance portrait and event photographer based in Rome, where the city’s layered light and timeless architecture serve as both canvas and catalyst for my work. My practice is rooted in the belief that a photograph is far more than a record of appearance—it is an act of revelation. Through deliberate mastery of light, composition, and the subtle choreography of human presence, I create images that expose the quiet complexities of character: the unguarded glance, the inherited posture, the fleeting emotion that defines a life.

Influenced by the uncompromising vision of photographers who have redefined portraiture—those who strip away artifice to reach raw authenticity, who use stark minimalism or dramatic staging to let personality command the frame—I pursue a visual language that is at once refined and deeply human. This same exacting eye extends to the documentation of art exhibitions, where I translate the ephemeral dialogue between painting, sculpture, and thoughtfully arranged visuals into images that preserve the precise moment an artistic vision comes alive. Whether capturing the intimate tension of a portrait session or the dynamic rhythm of an event, my work favors clarity over embellishment: clean lines, intentional negative space, and a lighting approach that sculpts rather than flatters. In every context, the result is imagery that feels both contemporary and enduring, equally at home in editorial pages, private collections, or family archives.

Rome has shaped my eye in profound ways. The city’s interplay of golden-hour warmth and cool shadow, its centuries of artistic heritage, and its daily theater of life have taught me to see beauty in contrast and authenticity in imperfection. Over time, my technical foundation has matured into an intuitive dialogue with each subject, a collaborative process built on trust and curiosity. Whether guiding a client through a studio session or navigating the energy of a live event or exhibition space, I approach every commission as an opportunity to co-create something honest and lasting.

Today, I work with individuals, couples, families, organizations, and cultural institutions who value photographs that transcend trends—images that will still resonate decades from now. In a world saturated with fleeting visuals, my goal remains singular: to craft portraits, event stories, and art-exhibition documentation that honor the uniqueness of each person, moment, and creative vision entrusted to me. Rooted here in Rome, I continue to explore the boundless potential of light and human connection, one frame at a time.
